From downtown Prince George, head towards 1st Ave and continue onto Hwy 16 East. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes. Make a left at the Airport Husky onto Foreman Rd. Continue on Foreman Rd for another 5 minutes. The entrance will be on your left and will be marked with a sign saying Foreman Farms.

We’re open throughout the week, except Mondays and Tuesdays, with special hours for long weekends:

We’ve planted 9 varieties that bloom over a 6 week period. Expect anywhere from 20-70% at any given visit with the best blooms around mid to late August.

Your ticket is valid from open to close on your selected date. The last entry time for each day will be 45 minutes before closing.

Cash entry to Sunflower Festival can be purchased at the Bloom Café.

Send an email to tickets@northernlightswinery.ca with the name the tickets are under and the new date you’d like and we’ll work to switch your tickets for you.

Please note, change requests with less than 24 hours notice are not guaranteed to be completed. If the original date for the tickets has passed, we will be unable to move your tickets to a new date or offer a refund.

If you are unable to make it to your selected ticket date, we can move your tickets to a new date with at least 24 hours’ notice. For this event, there will not be offering refunds.

Please note, if the date of your original tickets has passed we will be unable to reschedule your tickets or offer a refund.

Sunflower Fest will happen rain or shine, so please prepare for the weather! In the event of extreme weather events (lightning storms, blizzards, etc.) and Foreman Farms decides to close for the ENTIRE day, we will cancel the event and automatically issue refunds (less Eventbrite Fees).

Kids Days will be happening every Thursday all Festival long! Kids Days include a treat and a free children’s activity!

Photographers are more than welcome at Sunflower Festival as long as their models have purchased tickets.

For more elaborate or styled-shoots requiring props or other items, we ask that you get in touch with our Director of Events at jenese@northernlightswinery.ca to book a time for your shoot.

We would love it if you share any photos from Sunflower Fest by tagging us (@northernlightswinery) and using the hashtag #pgsunflowerfest.

The grounds are wheelchair and stroller-accessible, but areas may be difficult to maneuver. There are multiple terrain types including dirt, gravel, mulch, grass, and when raining, mud. The grounds throughout Sunflower Fest will be uneven in areas.

We have some snack and grab and go options for you convenience including ice cream, dirty soda floats, water, cold beverages, coffee, tea, assorted baked goods, hotdog, kettle corn and more for purchase at the Bloom Café.

If you need to get out of the sun, head inside the Bloom Café or pop over to the shaded picnic tables just outside the café. The sunflower fields are not shaded.

Dogs are allowed on site, but must be on a leash at all times. We ask that you avoid the animal enclosures and areas to avoid any unnecessary stress for our furry friends or yours.

If your dog is impeding the enjoyment of the Festival for others (ex. excessive barking, begging for food, etc.) we may ask that they are removed from the Festival.

We have a designated U-Cut section available for you to pick your very own sunflowers.

Entry $2.50 per CUT STEM.

Due to Canada Transport Guidelines, drones are not allowed at the property.

No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot.

Right beside! Less than a minute from parking to entrance into the field.

Yes, we have parking spaces available for all vehicle types with turnaround space. Overnight parking is not available.

We offer flexible pricing based on how long you want to drive! Here's how it works:

• Rent one of our RC cars:

  • $5 flat rate fee for up to 25 minutes

Note: 10 minutes will be deducted from your total time to account for travel to and from the track.

We have 6 RC cars available for rent, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If all cars are in use when you arrive, no worries — you can add your name to our waitlist, which is also first-come, first-served.

Once a car becomes available, we’ll call or text you right away so you can jump in and hit the track!

RC car rentals are not included in the entrance fee and are available based on availability. We have 6 cars that can be rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

BOGO (Buy one get one free) Sunflowers will be on Friday this year.
